St. Charles Photographer: Well, Hello Finnian!

So I have lots to say about this beautiful family.

I have known this new dad since he was a baby...actually I vividly remember the first time I met him...I was in Kindergarten going over to play with his sister and his mom answered the door holding him, and he was in a diaper :)

His sister is my best friend in the world and his whole family has been a second family to me. So I think of David as my little brother.

Nothing made me happier than to be able to see him with his new son and beautiful wife! I was so lucky to be able to able to photograph Finnian when he was just 6 days old.

So thank you David and Johanna for this wonderful opportunity and I hope you love these photographs of him! I know I do...and so will Aunt Laura :)

Geneva Photographer: Party of Five

Who didn't love that show!? Does anyone even remember that show?

Anyway...

This family was so hilarious. The Stanfa's...there's a lot of 'em and every single one is so darn cute. You may recognize some of their smiling faces if you ever head into Graham's in Geneva (ummm...which I do too much) for yummy ice cream and other goodies.

They were such troopers to come on out, coordinate their outfits, and to pose for me. We had a great time and it was a breeze to photograph them.

Geneva Photographer: Morning in the Park

I just love when I meet a family with a baby and I get to photograph them for a whole year!!!! This family was so sweet and madly in love with their baby girl...and who wouldn't be! This little doll was all smiles this morning. And then fell asleep just in time to get some gorgeous shots of her snoozin' in the park :)

Can't wait to see her at 6 months!!!

The Gorgeous Spring Family!

I have been so lucky to have photographed them when Sara was pregnant, then when Charlie Rose was born and then now here we are...6 months later!

How time flies!

So here are some great shots form the shoot we had at St. Charles Country Club. A family that golfs together, stays together, right!? :)

I can't tell you how fun it was for all of us to be riding around this gorgeous course in our golf carts stopping here and there to photograph. Even better is that I didn't have to golf and still got to drive a cart! Ha!

Seriously...could this family be any cuter!?

Geneva Photographer: Love Love Love

So I seem to be on a roll lately capturing unique marriages! Add another set of newlyweds to my list that truly "WOW'd" me with their relationship. While I love a big wedding with all the details and extravagance, I also just love when 2 people make it a day just about them and no one else with minimal fluff :) Nothing better than being with the one you love, at a beautiful place sipping champagne to celebrate your new life together!

So Bill and Gracie made a quick stop to the Geneva Courthouse and asked me to photograph them...and the day was perfect!

Geneva Photographer: Another Day In The Daisies!

Well why not!?

So I went back to the field of daisies with this family. They live right by this field and also pass it all the time, so they were so excited to have their family portraits taken there.

This gorgeous family made it oh so easy to get some great photographs on this very very steamy day!

We started in their backyard, and I have to be honest...that pool sure looked enticing :)

Andrea, the oldest daughter may look familiar...I got to photograph her for her Senior Portrait last summer...and now she is off to college. Time flies!!!!!

Geneva Photographer: Pickin' Some Daisies

I drove by this field a week ago and hoped that this mom was on board with having her daughters portraits taken here! It is gorgeous...rows upon rows of the prettiest daisies. ANd I loved hearing from some friends that they also saw it and thought of me photographing here! So here yah go...some sneak peeks of the little cuties, Daphne and Phoebe!
